Guides for creating and using U2M short links
Practical U2M guides for creating short links, sharing QR codes, and choosing the right public or token-protected statistics view.
Start with the core workflow
Create a U2M link from an HTTP or HTTPS destination, copy the returned short URL, and share it through the channel you control.
When U2M returns a statistics token, keep that token private. The token opens the detailed statistics page for that link.
Choose the right statistics view
- Use the public statistics page for aggregate platform activity.
- Use the token dashboard only for the individual link whose token you received.
- Use the private account dashboard for links owned by your signed-in account.
Frequently asked questions
- Does a short link hide the destination from U2M?
- No. U2M stores the destination so it can redirect visitors. Review the privacy page for the related data categories.
- Should I publish a statistics token?
- No. Treat the token as the access link for an individual link statistics view.
- Can I automate link creation?
- Yes. The public API reference documents the supported shortening and statistics endpoints.
